Continuing on with my X-Men Furs Set, I present to you my favourite picture of the set! Meet Noah-Paul, AKA The Seraphim, an angel mutant who, aside from his flight ability, can create a blinding golden glow of light around himself. I decided I needed a guy in the set, so of course I drew NP!! I got the suit design from a picture of Archangel in a magazine my friend has. Isn't he just a doll??? Hee hee!
I really love how this one turned out. I thought since Noah's true form is an angel, he'd make an awesome mutant. Hee hee. And just a bit of interesting info: a Seraphim is the highest choir of angel, a messenger of God. Seraphims also give off an intense light, which is where I got Noah's light power. I really liked the name and thought it suiting, since there's already an X-Men called "Angel" :) Hee. Anyhoo, it's Seraphim! Beware Seraphim!... Hmmm, I wonder if he and Archangel would be in competion? Well, of course MINE would win :D Hee hee.

Next up is Ratfink as Maelstrom, a mutant who can create violent forces at her whim! Not necessarily weather forces, but also a powerful invisible blow to opponents counts too! I really liked the word Maelstrom and desperately wanted it for a mutant name. It sounds sort of masculine, though, but for a tough chica like Ratty, it works :D Hee hee! I LOVE her outfit and her hair in this one. God, this is like the best pic of Ratty I drew in a very long time. Hee. Very very good :D

The sixth picture in the set is of Ryan Quinn as Cyclone, a mutant who can - you guessed it! - create cyclones and tornados (how imaginative is that, ne? Hee...). Ryan's suit design is based on Wolverine's in the second movie. And I'd like to apoligize now for the cheesy-arsed attempt at comping in a cyclone on his hand. Meh, the pic still looks alright. Everyone on S7 seems to like this one the best. Merf, I dunno why. Maybe its the nifty pose I put him in. And yes, I realize he's very young (13) to be a movie X-Man, but meh, I don't care! I'm really happy with how he turned out. Huzzah!

Well, I can't have a set without some of my sister's characters, and who better to add to the set than my favourite of her characters, the always-brainy Trekker Williams! Here he is portrayed as Atom, a mutant whose power is to create atomic pulse blast at his opponents! Yeah, okay, I got the name from his Federation Y5K self, but this version of Atom is MUCH better looking!! (oh, that was mean... I'm sorry Jessie... *hugs*). Hee hee! And I'm guessing he's wearing contacts, 'cause I'm thinking it'd be hard to fight in glasses, unless of course their muffed onto your head like Cyclops', but whatever... Hee. And I love that long hair thing. His pose is kinda girly, but I still like it anyway. I love Trekkie! XD Yay! Erf, and I can't believe I messed up on the copyright info... I had to fix it before u/ling it here... Meep.

Next for my X-Men Furs Set is Rage Dingo as Sandstorm, who, OBVIOUSLY, can create sandstorms, from either the seemingly-harmless dust in the air, or when he is outdoors where he is most powerful because he can create tornado-force storms from outdoor dust, gravel, sand... anything dirt-like, he can use it to his advantage.
I like what I did with his eyes. I think it's so cool the way Storm's eyes haze over when she's creating a weather change, so I figured Rage could do that too :D Hee hee. Again, dismay the terrible comping of the "sand" on his fingers... Meh, I thought it would look cool, but it don't. Meep. Ah well. I like this pic. Wee!

Erf, there's a lot of pics in this set :D Hee hee. Here's Cody Stiles as the British Bombshell! Her mutant powers include creating energy pulses that impact with a bomb-like force! I love her outfit! Knowing Cody, she would never leave to fight without representing her country, so she altered her suit to create suttle Union Jacks (my sister's current fad, on a sidenote :) ), hence the "British" in her name. I love her boots too! Wee! Anyhoo, this one turned out nicely :) Hee hee!

XMenFurs10.jpg

Here's the final pic in this set... for now anyway :D Hee hee :) Meet Calico Katt as Goldenrod, who has the ability to create gold! Wee! You can only imagine what kind of temptation she would be going though with an ability like that. However, to turn objects into gold requires a great deal of concentration and energy, so she really never does that. Her other power, though, is less energy consuming: she can create rods or spheres of gold from thin air to throw at her enemies! Wee!
I thought that it would be cool to have a mutant who can create gold, but would also have to struggle with the temptation to create gold for personal gain he or she would have to hold back day after day. And, I really liked the name Goldenrod, and wanted to use it somewhere. I can't believe I didn't draw Cali earlier in the set, really. It only occurred to me that I haven't drawn her yet until recently. Meep. Well, I hope Jess likes it anyway.

After Jess and I saw X2, we both agreed Alan Cumming, albeit a tad weird, is a doll. We also both believe he did an awesome job as Nightcrawler (YAY!) in the movie and, albeit a bit blue, is a doll. She therefore, LIKE SHE ALWAYS DOES, claimed him as hers. WHY??? She always claims the good looking ones! And always more than one! She said she also gets Hugh (no fair!) and said I could have Stryker (EWWWW!!!!) But ANYWAY, I took it into great fun, and doodled this pic up for her, which I think I sent to her before today's upload. It's poor Kurt (from the movie this time :) I like Kurt :) ) who tried to get away but got caught by my EVIL sister in a death grip on his tail! Awww!! And once she does that evil death grip to a guy, they've been "CLAIMED". And there's poor Kurt, asking for someone to help him. Hee. Well, I would help him, but I don't dare touch a guy once Jessie's claimed him. Hee hee. Oh, and they're done in my SD style, making this pic even cuter than it has to be. Hee hee. Yay! And I'll apologize in advance if my German's a little bad. It's supposed to translate as "Somebody please help me", according to Altavista's BabelFish Translator, so me no resposible for terrible German. Wee! Anyhoo, it's Kurt and my sister! Yay!

Nightcrawler03.jpg

Erf, I can't seem to ever get enough of watching Evolution episodes featuring Kurt! Yay! My favourite episode, "Shadow Dance" kind of inspired this picture, when he told Amanda that "you may not like what you're going to see...", so I drew a picture of Kurt seeming to be thinking about himself, looking at his hand. I also wanted to draw him fuzzy. :D Hee hee. He's supposed to be fuzzy, but you never see the fuzz! Meh! That's why I drew him topless, I promise :)... :Þ ANYWAY, it's a sad but thoughtful-looking Kurt :)

  Nightcrawler04.jpg

Yet another pic of Evolution Kurt, this time doing the dynamic pose of crouching... :Þ Hee. I think I drew Kurt to Ken-like again... Meep. But it's still kind of a cute pic :) Hee. Not much else I can really say about this one. Merf.

RageViv01.jpg
RageViv01.jpg

Y'know, it's been a while since I had drawn Vivian and Rage together in a pic, so I decided I would draw a pic where they're not trying to get on each other's nerves :) Hee hee. It's a cute 'shipper pic of Rage and Vivian, who I think make cute couple :) Hee. Vivian looks a bit weird, but its alright. Meep. Good pic.

Wee! It's a cute picture of Ryan and Kathy superdeformed, giving each other a hug! I like this one so very very much :D Hee.

Monodramon01.jpg
Monodramon01.jpg

I recieved a request a short while ago from Matthew Levitt to draw an anthro version of Monodramon from Digimon Tamers (he's Ryo's Digimon... I didn't remember this until I found the picture of Monodramon). While I don't usually take requests of copyrighted characters, I had nothing better to do, 'cause HEY! I have no life whatsoever. Merf. Anyhoo, so I looked for some reference pics and eventually came up with this, which the Matthew liked, so I'm very happy :D Hee. And I like this pic too. Hee.

  EllmieMalik01.jpg
  EllmieMalik01.jpg

While browsing through Manuella's deviantART Archive I came across a few characters that I thought would be fun to draw. And, seeing as I have no job or no life this summer, I decided I have ALL the friggin' free time in the world to waste. Here's a pic of Manue's lizard characters Ellmie (the girl) and Malik (the dude) who are a couple. I really like how Malik looks, but I think Ellmie needs a bit of work. And I think I drew Malik's ear too big. Meep, oh well. It's still pretty good :)

Lougas01.jpg
Lougas01.jpg

This is a picture of Manue's character Lougas, a beluga whale, taking a leap out of the water. I love Manue's aquatic characters, and Lougas looked fun to draw. And WEE!! This is probably the most exciting pose I have ever done, and it turned out! Yay! I messed up a bit on the direction of some of the hair flow, but that's alright. The sad thing is, though, that the background took longer to finish than the actual drawing and colouring of this piece. Wee, and while I was playing with Photoshop (which I really don't like but have to have for my college program), I found that silly but cool light effect everyone puts on their pictures, so MEH, I decided to put it on too. Hee. It suits this picture, so at least it doesn't look gawdy. Wee. Anyhoot, this pic is rated PG for nudity. Merf.

  Nevada01.jpg
  Nevada01.jpg

This is my last and favourite pic for Manue. It's of her narwhal Nevada, who I thought was so beautiful that I HAD to draw her! I SO love this one! A perspective piece that actually looks good! Wee, that's a new one for me, yes :) And I drew her so very well :) I'm very happy about this one.

RatTrek20.jpg

Y'know, this pic has been sitting in my "To Colour" folder since last summer? I honestly remember finishing the drawing to this and just putting it in my "To Ink" folder, then inking it, and moving it to my "To Colour" folder. I dunno why. Maybe it's because its a very good picture and just never understood why I never finished it. Merf, I hate colouring, maybe that's why... Anyway, this here is yet ANOTHER pic of Ratfink and Trekker, just posing and whatnot. And look! Ratty's ACTUALLY not wearing purple! Horrah! I CAN colour her in other colours! Hee. Yeah, I like this picture.

  Celeste08.jpg
  Celeste08.jpg

I am currently working on set of profile-like pics for my Elemental Dragons, and have drawn and tossed aside many pics of a few of the dragons. This was one of them that I happened to like, and decided to keep because I drew a different pose that I never draw, and it turned out pretty cool! It's of Celeste bending down with her wings outstretched (sort of, but whatever). I so like this picture! It's very good! It's very rare for me to draw a wing at an awkward angle and for it to turn out so well. Yeah. Horrah for me!

TuLong03.jpg
TuLong03.jpg

This is another preliminary drawing I did for my Elemental Dragon set that I am working on. It's of Tu Long, my Chinese magic dragon of the earth. It's a very good pic, only there's one problem: Go to my Side7 archive and search for TuLong01.jpg, and you will get this exact pic. I kid you not. I don't know how I did it, or why, but I swear to goodness, they are almost identical. So, it had to be tossed aside. I felt so silly. Oy. But I like it anyway. And yes, you can tell I was having fun with my new plugins on PaintShopPro that I borrowed from Adobe Photoshop... Hee...I happen to like that jagged outline around Tu, thank you. :) Hee.

  DigiXmen01.jpg

All right, I'm not quite sure if I should classify this as X-Men fan art or Digimon fan art... eee... Anyhoo, as I have said numerous times this update, I have problems with making Kurt from X:E looking like Kurt! He always ends up looking like Ken from Digimon 02! So, I decided to draw Kurt as Ken, just because I'm a silly chica. Hee. And so what happens? Kurt looks like Kurt. Oy, I can't win! Hee! And lookit poor Wormmon! I think he's thinking something's not right about his Ken... Hmmmm...Well, seeing as Ken isn't blue with a tail, I think there's been a switch somewhere along the line :) Hee hee! What a cute pic :)
